Single Person View
<< Previous ChapterContentNext Chapter >>

Here you find detailed information for a specific person.

The last name that appears as the title of the page is the current name.

Below you can sometimes see a picture of this person. If there is more than one image for that person, only the first image is displayed, and a link follows to a picure gallery. If only one picture exists, there is no picture gallery.

To the right the image the current name is repeated. Below maiden names or nicknames are added. The forename is underlined. If a first name is displayed in italics, it is not verified or only an assumption.

Then CV information follow such as birth and death date, place of birth and death and occupation and residence (s). Place information are links to the corresponding Single Place View.

Finally, details of (marriage) partners, parents and siblings follow. All names are links to the corresponding Single Person View.

Sometimes there is more information. In this case we see an info icon info, e.g. here:

Info.Symbol

If you move your mouse over this icon, an information box will open, in this case with a short, simple note:

Info.Symbol

(You need not press teh left mouse button) Moving the cursor away from the info icon, this information box will disappear by itself.
By the way, such information is shown wherever occupations and places of residence are shown such as in Single Place View and in the Calendar.
In some cases, there is more complex information, such as a link or pictures. See here for further information to Info Boxes.

On the very bottom of Single Person View some comments may follow that are recorded in the genealogical data. In addition, registered users can add their own notes which are then displayed here.
